Who we are

AI Work Ready (ABN 89 594 851 152) runs aiworkready.com.au and our learning site at learn.aiworkready.com.au. We provide AI training for people and organisations in Australia.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we look after it and how you can contact us about it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

What we collect

We only collect what we need. What that is depends on what you do.

• AI Readiness Check. Your answers are scored in your browser and are not sent to us. If you ask for your report, we collect your first name, email, level, scores and your three answers about you. We never collect your individual question answers.
• Training request form. Your name, job title, work email, phone if you give it, your organisation's details and your answers about your training needs.
• Enquiry form. Your name, organisation, work email, team size, sector and message.
• Course waitlists and the free guide. Your first name, email and the course or guide you asked for, plus whether you want occasional updates.
• Our learning site. Your name, email and login details, your course progress, quiz attempts, survey answers and certificates.
• Technical information. Our servers keep standard logs such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. These help us keep the sites secure and working.

Please do not send us personal details about your staff, clients or anyone else. Our forms ask for information about your organisation, not about individuals.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry or training request and prepare a quote.
• To send you your readiness report, course updates or the guide you asked for.
• To run our courses, track your progress and issue your Certificate of Completion.
• To let anyone with your certificate code check that it is genuine.
• To keep our websites secure and improve our training.

We only send you marketing emails if you tick the box to agree. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or you can email us at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not enter your personal information into public generative AI tools.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host our websites, learning site and email, and only so they can provide that service.
• Your employer or organisation, if you take a course on a training site they arranged for you. They can see your progress, completions and certificates.
• Anyone you give your certificate code to. Entering the code shows your name, the course and the completion date.
• Others where the law requires it.

Our hosting provider's servers may be located outside Australia, for example in the United States. We choose providers that use reasonable security measures.

Some pages link to or show content from other services, such as YouTube videos (shown in privacy-enhanced mode) and Calendly for booking a call. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and your browser

Our sites use cookies that are needed to make forms and the learning site work, such as keeping you logged in and protecting forms from misuse. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

The AI Readiness Check and the training request form save your progress in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. That information stays on your device until you finish or clear it.

How we look after it

We store form records in a private area of our server that cannot be reached from the web. We limit who can access personal information and we keep our systems up to date.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires. Certificate records are kept so that certificates can still be checked.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are able to. You can stop marketing emails at any time.

Complaints

If you are worried about how we have handled your personal information, please email admin@aiworkready.com.au first so we can try to fix it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The date below shows when it last changed.
